DEADHEAVEN

MODO: EMBER'S END

WINDOWS

UNDERCROOK

DeadHeaven is a character-driven, post-apocalyptic dark fantasy horror series written, illustrated, and published by Christopher Steininger.

"This book is beautiful. It makes my brain melt."

      - Ben Templesmith, writer/creator of Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse

"Steininger builds a unique world of assassins, monsters, secret warriors, and innocent victims-to-be. But, the true genius is in the heart he gives every character, and the emotional weight of each of their journeys."

      - Joshua Hale Fialkov, writer/creator of Echoes, Tumor, and Elk's Run

MODO: EMBER'S END

Written by Arthur Slade

Illustrated by Christopher Steininger

Modo: Ember's End is an all ages graphic novel set against a wild west backdrop infused with steampunk madness. It's a stand-alone story: the further adventures of Modo, star of The Hunchback Assignments novels. He's been trained by the British to be a secret agent and is a hunchback with a special ability: he can change his shape to look like other people. Modo and his fellow agent, Octavia, find themselves in the Wild West. They stumble across the town of Ember's End, built by the mad scientist Ebenenezer Ember, who has vanished but has left behind his beguiling daughter. There's a rumour that Ebenezer has invented a device that will end all wars. This has brought the mercenary, Ogden Bull, to town. It becomes a race to find the device and to see who will use it first... Think: action, over-the-top adventure, a huge dollop of fantastical fun and enough humour to tickle your innards.

Written by Joe Frank

Illustrated by Christopher Steininger

Written by American radio icon Joe Frank with art by Christopher Steininger, Windows is an 88-page graphic novel adapted from one of Joe's dramatic radio plays from The Other Side (1999) series. Windows contains independent vignettes and monologues primarily focusing on love. Release is set for late 2013.

"[Joe Frank} travels in the emotional landscape of Bergman and Fellini; there's a tension and sense of mystery halfway between Kafka and Chandler, plot twists of Rod Serling, and a satiric edge worthy of Firesign Theatre and Woody Allen."

      - The Washington Post

"Joe Frank is by far the most brilliant comic in America... monologues so sharp and intelligent that during the quiet bits you can almost hear God taking notes."

      - The Guardian (UK)
